I will never buy a store bought calendar again!

They say the making of New Years Resolutions are pointless as past January 7, they are largely forgetten and most never attained. Well, I say ‘they’ are largely pessimests and as any successful person will tell you, goal setting is crucial to the achievement of your own. NY Resolutions can be fanciful ideas or they can be goals.

My own immediate goal for 2013 is to get organised and manage my time better (much to the encouragement of my boyfriend).  Having just launched my blog, Kelly in Code, I am more aware than ever that keeping all those many appointments, projects and work schedules in my head will in no way fly anymore and if I am honest hasn’t for the last 6 months.

In my need to schedule my time effectively to incorporate my both my Cinnamon & Grace facebook and ebay stores aswell as the many requirements of the new blog, I turned to some experts who have alternatively impressed me with their sound advice and beautiful creative expression.

If you’re all in a fluster when it comes to managing the many facets the life of a blogger encompasses and finding the time to complete each, I cannot recommend the marvellous Amy Lee Andrews from Blogging with Amy any more highly. Her post, 4 Steps to Time Management is a lifesaver and if used with the free printables from her Scheduling with Google Calendar post, Amy Lee has provided a fool proof plan for effective (and blissfully stress-free) time management.

In my bid to get more organised, I realised I had not yet replaced my 2012 Wall Calendar (I rely on my trusty wall calendar!). I didn’t want to wait to get started jotting down my plans for the year, so with the plethora of craft blogs out there I did a quick search for 2013 calendar printables and the array of gorgeous free calendars blew me away and I had to share them with you.

Personally I decided on the funky, bright free 2013 calendar from MeinLilaPark for my kitchen wall and the Live Free Love Life Free 2013 12 Monthly calendar Miss Tina for the space over my desk.
