My name is Kelly Gregory and I am 35 years old. A little peek into my private interests and you’ll find an ardent book worm with a love for history.
You would expect someone like me who started out in administration and business management to have a single track approach towards life. But my penchant for all things creative and versatile has taken me on a very interesting journey.
My most cherished moments in my career are my days as a photographer for Inside MMA and my consequent role as a sports writer for International Kickboxer. As a qualified personal trainer and having trained and competed in Muay Thai kickboxing and body sculpting, I enjoyed these experiences thoroughly.
I find that creativity has a lot of channels and outlets, and I found mine with writing at a very young age. After years of competing in writing competitions throughout my childhood, writing professionally came naturally to me when I started out with International Kickboxer in 2008. Since then I’ve done several articles for other publications like Women’s Health, Inside Sport and Australian Health. My interest in photography too kept me busy during this period as I successfully freelanced as a sports and portrait photographer for local and international events.
More recently, I decided to test the retail waters and launched an online venture promoting women’s fashion, lingerie, handbags and footwear. The success of my newest venture means I’ll soon be creating a sole online presence for these products too.
In keeping with my affinity towards all things creative, I’m good with web and graphic design as well. I am currently building HTML webpage templates to sell as eBay Auction Listing Templates on Etsy. I also design pre-made logos, organisation printables, social media icons and the like to launch an Etsy store very soon.
I am currently pursuing a dual degree in Journalism and Arts majoring in History and Political Science. I live with my boyfriend, Stephen, and my cat, Henley. I grew up on the Gold Coast (in Queensland, Australia) and now split my time between the University of Qld campus in Brisbane and our beach house on the Gold Coast.
